Decade European Tour: From January 1st to March 5th Waltari played 21 gigs in 8 countries.
In spring Waltari sign a new Europeanwide record deal with Edel. Recording and mixing of next album in Helsinki.
In summer Kärtsy starts to compose the new Symphony. Some gigs in clubs and at festivals.
In September a Promosingle "Every Bad Day" released in many European countries followed by the 7th studio album Radium Round on October 4th. It was released almost all over Europe.
On October 15th Waltari's second symphony has premiere. was composed this time by Kärtsy and Roope. The symphony called Evangelicum / Evankeliumi was performed in the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki and has been even more expensive than the previous symphony. Again it featured some guest stars: Jorma Uotinen, a famous choreograph, was responsible for the stage show. Tarja Turunen of the well known Finnish band Nightwish joined as singer and again Riku Niemi conducting the Symphony orchestra and chamber choir of the Sibelius Upper Secondary School. There was eight perfomances between October 15th and November 8th. All sold out
