2001

In 2001 Waltari did not have a record deal so they had an artistic recreation.
Sami moved back to Finland and rejoined the band officially.
Although Waltari did not have a record deal the vinyl EP  Back To Persepolis was released surprisingly at the end of the year. Another surprising release was Jariot's solo 2001.

Kärtsy has not been unbusy, either. Iin collaboration with the famous Finnish producer Mikko Karmila who also produced various Waltari albums, he composed the score to the award-winning Video Game bestseller Max Payne
