Roope Latvala

There is no doubt Roope Latvala is among Europe's greatest guitarists but he never fit into Waltari. At first there was a big acceptance among the fans due to the reputation of his name but they soon had to realize he never would replace Sami. He was not made for Waltari, and Waltari was not made for him. Both are too different.
When Roope was starting to get more and more busy in other projects it seemed like a disinterest in Waltari which came to a head when he was replaced by Sami in the 1999 Radium Round Tour.
